Day 9-Kinder Camp and Pizza Party!

Emma and I were up and out early this day for her "Kinder Camp" at school. I sat on an uncomfortable cafeteria bench for an hour, listening to 100+ other parents ask the same questions over and over again.....most of which info can be found on the school website or in the registration folder that has already been sent home (read your literature, parents!!). Emma on the other hand had a blast! She got to tour the school with the Kindergarten teachers! She played the bongo drum in the music room. Read a book, "Is your Mama a Llama?" in the library, bowled in the gym, went to the bathroom :), rode the bus around the block!!, and had a snack in the cafeteria. "That's where you eat your lunch", she informed her Nana later on the phone.
And yes, I was the only parent there with a camera...but So What?!! Look! I managed to capture her first Kindergarten "line", and her first cafeteria "meal"!!! :)

After some fun at the park with Aunt Amy and crew, and a good nap for Ally, we headed over to have dinner and movie with the Kendall Klan. Mommy Kendall had ingredients for the kiddos to make their own personal pizzas, and the big girls were going to watch High School Musical. Weeeeell, we ended up having the wrong movie, so that didn't happen, but we did make pizzas. The making was a big hit. The eating, not so much...I guess the yummy croissant crust didn't do anything for our unappreciative eaters!
Thanks, M, for the fun pics!
Oh-near the end of the bunch, Emma-so exhausted she can't even hold her head up to watch our substitute show, and Ally-concerned that she got "some" of her Popsicle on her pants...I had already wiped the melty chocolate that had somehow spread from ear to ear, and was dripping from each elbow!
